The task of CO2 decomposition is one the components problem associated with global warming. One promising directions its solution use low-temperature plasma. For these purposes, different types discharges are used. Microwave discharge in liquid hydrocarbons has not been studied before for this problem. This paper presents results a study microwave products Nefras C2 80/120 (petroleum solvent, mixture light boiling point from 33 to 205 °C) when introduced into zone, as well by optical emission spectroscopy and shadow photography methods. main gas H2, C2H2, C2H4, CH4, CO2, CO. No oxygen was found products. mechanisms considered. formation H2 occurs simultaneously discharge, volumetric rate up 475 mL/min energy consumption 81.4 NL/kWh.
